- Comfortable shoes – good walking shoes, and a pair appropriate for the camp
- Weather at the camp is cooler than in Bucharest. Plan to bring a sweater, sweatshirt or jacket – layers work very well.
- A converter will be necessary if you bring chargers, laptops, razors, etc. Travel stores (e.g., Radio Shack, etc.) have converter plugs available at a reasonable price.
- House slippers – it is Romanian custom to take off your street shoes when you enter a home. Shoes are left inside the door.
- Luggage- use what you normally take, but you may want to pack a small backpack for the trip to the camp; no need to carry larger bags.
